MasterCard has launched Priceless platform, a visa into the metaverse, in collaboration with its partner, ROSE. The world’s second-largest payment processing company announced last Wednesday to deliver its cardholders with augmented reality (AR) experience.
This is the second time MasterCard and ROSE are collaborating as they initially combined in 2022 to produce an immersive AR experience for Snapchat users.
The Mastercard Priceless platform is exclusively available on smartphones and tablets until the 1st of June, 2023.
What is the MasterCard’s Priceless Platform experience
The Priceless platform experience entails transporting Android and Apple users to a Miami Design District enhanced by AI from their homes.
According to the Executive VP of Consumer Marketing and Revenue of Mastercard, Monica Biagiotti, the destination treats users with exclusive access to the “vibrant arts scene in Miami” through inspiring music and crisp visual branding.
Biagiotti added that the CEO of the Design District of Miami Craig Robins, will be the tour guide that will capture everything about the Design District. Additionally, there will be seven tour stops where timeless art pieces from featured artists such as Virgil Abloh and See Sol Lewitt will be exhibited.
According to the Associate Creative Director of ROSE, Nicole Riemer, the Priceless platform allows MasterCard cardholders to experience exotic and diversified from anywhere in the world leveraging immersive technology.
