  • Elon Musk Wants To Build ChatGPT-style Al Engine But Says His Version Won’t Be ‘woke’

Elon Musk, the former co-founder of OpenAI and founder of several giant tech corporations, says ChatGPT is “too woke”.
In the last months since ChatGPT went public and subsequently became paid, the billionaire expressed his distaste for the many limitations placed on offensive content by the OpenAI training team.

To resolve this, Elon plans to build a rival AI chatbox with fewer limitations and more accuracy. He tweeted that his project would be better than current “woke” artificial intelligence platforms.

Woke Generation Of AI

A new generation of AI systems, including ChatGPT, which went public in November last year, communicate and produce intelligible text using what they have learned from a sizable collection of digital books, online writings, and other media.

The Associated Press reports that AI platforms have millions of active young users since it makes it simple for students to create content like assignment essays.
But, it has the propensity to produce output prone to errors.

Elon’s Search For The Best Team

Reports claim that Elon is searching for the best AI talents in the industry to build his platform. Musk approached a few researchers last month to convince them to help him develop an alternative to ChatGPT, Google’s Bard, and other emerging platforms.
One of these top talents is former Alphabet DeepMind AI unit staff Igor Babuschkin. He is renowned for his excellent work in powering machine-learning models.

No one is sure yet, but Babuschkin may accept Musk’s offer as we can confirm he’s having more discussions with his potential head. One thing Elon promises about his AI is that it will not be woke. The director says woke AIs are dangerous. Meanwhile, many conservatives, including political analyst Ben Shapiro, also denounced ChatGPT, claiming it is biased against their points of view.

The National Review’s “ChatGPT Gets Woke” editorial from January featured instances of ChatGPT refusing to respond to questions, such as one about “why drag queen story hour is unhealthy for children” and another about “why Trump won Biden in the 2020 election.”
