Web 3 platform Token.com has announced that its subsidiary, Metaverse Group, will be part of the Metaverse Fashion Week 2023(MVFW23). The event will take place at Metaverse Group’s Luxury District at Decentraland, where reputable brands such as Dolce & Gabbana and DKNY will be present.
Metaverse will not be providing land rentals alone. The platform is taking its experience in virtual world design to a new level, introducing architectural and interior design services. These in-house design services will help create digital metaverse experiences for the event participants.
From March 28 to 31, MVFW23 will hold across three metaverses including Decentraland, Spatial, and Over. MVFW23 will be free for all attendees as there will be no admission fee for the event. Attendees will be thrilled by retail shops exhibiting digital wearables, virtual fashion shows, music stars, virtual parties, and much more. The main destination will be the Luxury Fashion District in Metaverse Group’s Fashion Street Estate
MVFW23: What to look forward?
MVFW23 started in 2022, and this year’s edition will have more immersive digital exhibitions by some of the biggest global fashion houses. Attendees will be looking forward to several exciting metaverse experiences.
Dolce & Gabbana and Tommy Hilfiger MVFW23 headliners
Fashion powerhouse Dolce & Gabbana will be exhibiting winning designs from its Future Reward competition. The competition is a digital design battle amongst emerging talent. It culminates in the creation of a new digital wearables collection.
Tommy Hilfiger will also be making appearances with daily product exhibitions and exciting collaborations. The brand will cap it off with a community competition where Mr. Tommy Himfilger will handpick the winner.
Other collaborations
DKNY is taking its innovative spirit to the metaverse with DKNY.3, a brand-new virtual venue featuring an art gallery, rooftop lounge, and a pizzeria. Attendees will have exclusive access to their iconic SoHo landmark wall through a web 3 creation by one of MVFW’s finest neodesigners.
DUNDAS is bringing fashion into the future, joining forces with DressX and UME to launch a new range of wearables at Paris Fashion Week. Inspired by its Seoul headquarters, Amorepacific presents ‘New Beauty Land’. The event is set to dazzle with top-of-the-line designs that take fashion tech and style beyond the catwalk.
Ben Bridge, a renowned US jeweler, will arrive in the metaverse with its first virtual store. Monnier x Republic is also joining this year’s Metaverse Fashion Week (MVFW) to offer online shoppers an opportunity to experience their Creators Prize – celebrating innovation and creativity on web3.
“As a web3 company, we are committed to pushing boundaries of what is possible in the virtual world and providing unique and exciting experiences for those attending Metaverse Fashion Week,” said Andrew Kiguel, CEO of Tokens.com and Executive Chairman of Metaverse Group. “We are excited to be working with some of the top fashion brands in the world for the second year in a row.”
