Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, presented new images showcasing the Tesla Bots, which have undergone significant advancements. This happened during the firm’s shareholder meeting.
The latest video demonstrates their enhanced capabilities, including steady walking, object recognition, and picking up items. Noteworthy updates to the project involve improved motor control, AI-based trained human-tracked movements, and manipulating object features.
Tesla Humanoid Robots
The Tesla team does not need to help Telsa’s humanoid robots for them to walk straight lines. A Tesla Bot successfully removed items from one container and put them into another in an outstanding presentation. This illustrated the potential for these robots to perform tasks similar to humans. This action served as a practical example of how the bot’s AI can receive training by observing human demonstrations.
The Tesla humanoid robots initially debuted during Tesla AI Day 2022 in October. One robot version had limited walking capabilities and exposed internal components during that presentation. Another more developed version showcased that it required staff assistance to stand upright.
The Public Reactions
Following the release of the new images, various internet users expressed their reactions. Some individuals congratulated Tesla for achieving this significant milestone. Others made playful remarks about potentially “spanking” the robot if they encountered it in public.
Following Musk’s announcement of his departure as CEO at Twitter, the robot showcased its latest demonstration just a few days later. Musk had revealed on May 11 that he would assume the roles of Twitter’s chief executive and chief technology officer, redirecting his attention towards product development, software, and operational systems.
In the wake of this change, Linda Yaccarino will assume the position of Twitter’s next CEO, succeeding Musk. The billionaire expressed his enthusiasm for collaborating with Yaccarino to transform the platform into X, an all-encompassing application.
