Popular online writing assistant, Grammarly, has announced the launch of its new generative artificial intelligence tool, GrammarlyGo. This tool can also expand the company’s AI resources and enhance communication by performing more than just spell and grammar checks.
According to Grammarly, GrammarlyGo is designed to help users communicate more effectively by providing suggestions for clarity, tone, and style. It thrives on the latest advancements in natural language processing and machine learning and could provide more accurate and relevant suggestions for users.
The company has stated that GrammarlyGo will be available for use starting in April. In addition, the tool will be accessible through the Grammarly platform and can be used across a wide range of devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
GrammarlyGo will help users communicate more effectively and reduce writer’s block
Rahul Roy-Chowdhury, Grammarly’s global head of product, pointed out that poor communication delays feedback loops, and slows business development. He also wrote in a blog post that
“In the research conducted with The Harris Poll last year, we established that poor communication costs US businesses up to $1.2 trillion annually — or $12,506 per employee.”

According to Grammarly, the new AI employs factors relating to organizations, situations, and individuals. It does this to create messages for social media, email, and extensive communication. For example, using GrammarlyGo to write a formal message to your work team could help to present it in a more professional form.
GrammarlyGo will suggest improvements, shorten a message, and change the message’s mood for different situations. In addition to this, it will allow users to add their suggestions to suit their needs.
Another function that GrammarlyGo performs is to create ideas that can work as references and include them in messages. It also has single-click suggestions that would help to overcome writer’s block.
Grammarly is the most recent company to introduce a new AI tool after introducing OpenAI’s ChatGPT into the public scene at the end of 2022. Microsoft, Snapchat, and Google introduced AI chatbot features that allow users to have conversations that exist to remake similar online activities. Although these features can create messages, they do not consider certain conditions when developing content.
Ultimately, the introduction of GrammarlyGo would be exciting for professionals and students who rely on written communication in their daily lives.
