Google wants to stay on top in the search engine business despite lagging in the AI battle

Google is developing a new browser with artificial intelligence (AI) to keep its position in the search engine market. This comes after Samsung, South Korea’s largest consumer electronics producer, expressed interest in replacing Google with Microsoft’s Bing as the default search engine on its devices.

Although Bing has been in Google’s shadow for a long time, it has recently attracted specialists by incorporating AI. The New York Times reported that Google is at risk of losing its annual revenue of around $3 billion with Samsung and a $20 billion contract with Apple, which is up for renewal this year.

To address this, Google is reportedly developing a new project called “Magi” with AI that provides personalized service by predicting users’ needs. This browser has been designed and sampled by sprint office designers, developers, and administrators.

Lara Levin, a Google spokesman, announced that Google would soon release details of the new technology features it will add to browsers. However, she also noted that not all brainstorming or ideas result in product launches. The changes will significantly impact users, reducing individual tests for imagination. Numerous users employ Google Search to find restaurants and gain knowledge about medical conditions.

Google’s AI efforts

Google is also competing with Open AI’s ChatGPT. The tech giant created a task force to build AI products for its search division two weeks after the chatbot launched last November. As a result, Google has created a task team to develop AI features for its search engine. Google also launched an AI experiment named Bard in February, which aimed to improve the quality of search results. Unfortunately, the experiment did not go as planned, with an inaccurate statement by the AI causing a $140 billion loss for Google.

Despite the setback, Google remains committed to improving its search capabilities with AI, and has continued to invest in its AI team to ensure it stays ahead of the competition.
